Delete your Hop Home account

How to delete your account and its data, with or without the app.

App
Hop Home (called Ludo Raja in India)
Developer

Contact

Delete it in the app (fastest)

  1. Open Hop Home and tap Settings (the gear).
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Continue, then Delete forever.

Your account and its data are deleted from our server straight away, and the game starts over on your phone with a brand-new account. You need an internet connection to do this.

Ask us without the app

If you no longer have the app, or someone else's account needs deleting (for example a parent for their child), email us from any email address:

Email a deletion request

Send it to techienoid@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Hop Home account", and include:

  • Your Player ID. You can find it in the game on your Profile (under your name) and in Settings > About.
  • If you have lost the Player ID, tell us as much as you can instead: your player name, your level, roughly when you started playing, and, if you bought anything, the order number from your App Store or Google Play receipt email.
We do not keep names or email addresses, so the Player ID is the surest way to find an account. Other players' apps can also receive a Player ID, so to make sure nobody deletes someone else's account we may ask for one more detail that only the player can see in the game, such as the coin balance. Without the Player ID we will try to match the details you give, and we only delete an account if they clearly point to one. If we cannot find it, we will tell you.

We will delete the account and reply to confirm within 30 days. We use your email address only to handle your request.

Uninstalled the app without deleting your account first? The account can no longer be opened from any phone, but its data stays on our server until you ask us to delete it.

Deleted

What is deleted

  • Your player profile: player name, avatar, frame and character look, level and XP, coins, gems, trophies, game stats, items you own (including ones bought with real money), daily rewards, spins, chests, missions, achievements, the under-13 setting and league prizes.
  • The link between your phone and the account (the hashed guest ID).
  • Your online match results and match entry fees.
  • Your weekly league records and rankings.
  • Records of rewarded ads you watched.
  • The scrambled code that links crash reports to your account.
  • Your push notification tokens (and with them your notification language and time zone).
  • Your customer record at RevenueCat, our purchase checking service (your Player ID and purchase receipts there): we ask RevenueCat to delete it.
  • When you delete in the app, your phone also forgets the account: the sign-in token, the guest ID and the saved copy of your profile.

Remove Ads can be brought back on a new account with Restore purchases in the shop, where your app store allows it. Coins, gems and items cannot be restored.

Kept

What is kept, and for how long

  • Purchase records, unlinked: the store transaction ID, the product and the date it was granted, no longer connected to any player. We keep these while the game runs, so that the same purchase can never be claimed twice.
  • A deleted-account marker: the deleted Player ID and the time of deletion, with nothing else, so that any old sign-in stops working at once. It is removed after about 1 year.
  • Crash reports you may have sent stay, with nothing linking them to you, until they are deleted after 30 days (at most about 5 weeks).
  • A match in progress: if you delete during or just after an online match, that match's temporary record is removed about 10 minutes after it ends.
  • Your email to us, for as long as we need to handle your request and show that we did.
  • On your phone: your age answer and your sound, language and graphics settings stay until you uninstall the app.
  • Other companies: Apple or Google keep your purchase history in your store account, Google AdMob keeps ad data, and Cloudflare (our host) keeps short-lived technical logs, each under its own privacy policy.

See the privacy policy for everything we collect.
